POTD CHALLENGE: LOVE

Okay, so this pic is nothing to look twice at. However, you need to know that this was taken on the edge of a frozen lake and whatever caused this indentation in the cold pebbles ended up leaving a heart-shaped depression. This then is a frozen heart-shaped hunk of ice about the size of your palm.

This is sooo cool. I think you need to repost when the thread for the next day starts in about 30minutes. Everyone needs to see this! Awesome eye!

I agree repost this in the next thread. Do you know what made the shape. What a cool find.

Just want to tell you again...this really rocks! I just love how you had the eye to see this, shows you pay attention to details. What time zone are you in? The thread for the next day starts at 10EST, which would be 8my time. When the thread starts, post the shot for your next day then...it's a bit confusing, but you'll get the hang of it. With photos like yours, I want you to get all the exposure you can;)

Awesome!!! I love it when I find random hearts, I almost stopped in the middle of the road yesterday to take a picture of a hunk of snow that looked like a heart. LOL

This is crazy looking, but so cool!! Don't feel bad, I was out of sync my first few days too!! I have to think about it this way - what I take today, I post on my blog today, and link on TOMORROW's date on the MB tonight. Clear as mud??? HTH! ;0)

That is super cool! I love when people observe stuff like this in nature. I usually just walk right on by without noticing.

That is so cool! I thought it was footprints at first with water in them.

This is great. I thought you must have created the heart shape yourself.
